Professor Lee Presents Paper in Cardozo Law School Event

Professor Peter Lee presented the work-in-progress “Autonomy, Copyright, and the Structure of Creative Production” at the Intellectual Property Scholars Conference, hosted online by Cardozo Law School.

The piece explores the role of copyright in enabling vertical disintegration in creative industries, thus increasing the independence of filmmakers, recording artists, and authors from the movie studios, record labels, and publishers that commercialize their work.

Professor Lee's scholarly work addresses the intersection of science and society, particularly exploring the patent system's impact on scientific and technological progress.
