Professor Joslin Speaks on Marriage Equality at St. John's

Professor Courtney Joslin spoke at the "Legal, Secular, and Religious Perspectives on Marriage Equality/Marriage Protection/Same-Sex Marriage" symposium at St. John's University School of Law on November 12.  In a lecture entitled "Travel Insurance: Protecting Lesbian and Gay Parent Families Across State Lines," she discussed some of the legal vulnerabilities faced by same-sex parent families and offered a proposal for mitigating the harms caused by these vulnerabilities.

Professor Joslin is a scholar in the field of family and relationship recognition, with a particular focus on same-sex and non-marital couples.
