Professor Joslin Attends Uniform Law Commission Meeting on Child Custody and Visitation
On October 14-15, Professor Courtney Joslin attended the Uniform Law Commission meeting on child custody and visitation issues. Professor Joslin is an Observer on the drafting committee of the Non-parental Child Custody and Visitation Act. The Honorable Craig Stowers '85, Chief Justice of the Alaska Supreme Court, is serving as a Commissioner on the Act. Professor Joslin is also the Reporter on a related project – the Uniform Law Commission’s revisions to the Uniform Parentage Act.
Professor Joslin is a scholar in the field of family and relationship recognition, with a particular focus on same-sex and non-marital couples.
