Professor Joslin Attends Uniform Law Commission Meeting on Child Custody and Visitation

On November 20-21, Professor Courtney Joslin attended a drafting meeting of the Uniform Law Commission's Committee on Third Party Child Custody and Visitation. The committee is in the process of drafting a uniform law on this subject. Professor Joslin is attending as an observer.  The Honorable Craig Stowers '85, Chief Justice of the Alaska Supreme Court, is a Commissioner on this project and also attended the meeting.

Professor Joslin is a scholar in the field of family and relationship recognition, with a particular focus on same-sex and non-marital couples.
