Professor Jorjani Joins California Reentry Program Board
Professor Raha Jorjani has joined the Board of Directors of the California Reentry Program, which seeks to assist prison inmates as they reenter society upon completion of their sentences. The group helps to develop parole plans, provides assistance with developing social skills and obtaining services, helps inmates to find transitional housing and substance abuse treatment, provides clothing, and other support that helps them to transition to productive, fulfilling lives in their communities.
Raha Jorjani is a staff attorney in the Immigration Law Clinic at the UC Davis School of Law with a special interest in advocacy on behalf of detained immigrants.
