Professor Jorjani to Deliver Keynote at DePaul Public Interest Law Symposium

Professor Raha Jorjani will deliver the keynote address and participate in a panel discussion at the DePaul University College of Law's 4th Annual Vincentian Public Interest Law Symposium on March 16-17.  The symposium, entitled "Out of the Shadows: The Crisis in Immigrant and Criminal Detention in America," will focus on problems in the detention systems.  Professor Jorjani's panel will discuss conditions of confinement.

Raha Jorjani is a staff attorney in the Immigration Law Clinic at the UC Davis School of Law with a special interest in advocacy on behalf of detained immigrants.
