Professor Jorjani Awarded AILA Scholarship to Lobby Congress
Professor Raha Jorjani has been invited to join a delegation of Northern California members of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) in attending AILA's National Day of Action March 19 in Washington, D.C. Professor Jorjani will join hundreds of AILA members traveling to the nation's capital that day to educate members of Congress and other policymakers regarding problems plaguing the country's immigration system in the hope of furthering reforms.
Raha Jorjani is a staff attorney in the Immigration Law Clinic at the UC Davis School of Law with a special interest in advocacy on behalf of detained immigrants.
