Professor Joh joins President Drake's UC Working Group on AI

Professor Elizabeth Joh has joined University of California President Michael V. Drake’s Presidential Working Group on Artificial Intelligence. The systemwide group is charged with establishing a set of UC Ethical AI Principles to guide the university system.

Professor Joh's scholarship focuses on criminal procedure and policing, with a special emphasis on DNA evidence, undercover policing, and new surveillance technologies. She is the recipient of King Hall’s 2017 Distinguished Teaching Award.
