Professor Joh delivers keynote address at policy workshop in San Francisco
Professor Elizabeth Joh delivered a keynote address on Nov. 17 at the USF Data Institute Center for Applied Data Ethics Tech Policy Workshop in San Francisco. Her talk was titled “The Influence of Surveillance Tech Companies on Democratic Policing.”
Professor Joh's scholarship focuses on criminal procedure and policing, with a special emphasis on DNA evidence, undercover policing, and new surveillance technologies. She is the recipient of King Hall’s 2017 Distinguished Teaching Award.
