Professor Joh among speakers at N.Y. Times-sponsored summit on artificial intelligence

Professor Elizabeth Joh participated in the recent groundbreaking New Work Summit sponsored by the New York Times.

Held in Half Moon Bay, the two-day summit’s theme was “Leading in the Age of AI,”  to assess the opportunities and risks emerging as artificial intelligence transforms industries. Professor Joh was among the working group leaders for summit discussions.

Professor Joh's scholarship focuses on criminal procedure and policing, with a special emphasis on DNA evidence, undercover policing and new surveillance technologies. She is the recipient of King Hall’s 2017 Distinguished Teaching Award.
