Professor Joh Addresses 'Gig Surveillance Economy' for GAO Group

On Nov. 2, Professor Elizabeth Joh presented the paper “A Gig Surveillance Economy” virtually to the Government Accountability Office’s justice portfolio group in Washington, D.C.

The paper is forthcoming as part of the Hoover Institution’s National Security, Technology and Law series.

Professor Joh's scholarship focuses on criminal procedure and policing, with a special emphasis on DNA evidence, undercover policing, and new surveillance technologies. She is the recipient of King Hall’s 2017 Distinguished Teaching Award.
