Professor Joe part of panel on 'Doing Justice' at UNLV
Professor Irene Joe was on a panel called “Doing Justice: Race, Reform & New Strategies in Criminal Law," in early April at the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
This event introduced UNLV’s Program on Race, Gender and Policing.
Irene Oritseweyinmi Joe’s scholarship focuses on the ethics of criminal justice. She graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin, and earned her J.D. from Stanford Law School. She clerked for the Honorable Napoleon Jones of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
