Professor Jasmine Harris Selected to Present at Health Law Scholars Workshop

Professor Jasmine Harris has been invited to present her paper "Judging Legal Capacity" at the Health Law Scholars Workshop held at St. Louis University's Center for Health Law Studies September 29-October 1. 

The workshop is a forum for junior faculty to present works in progress and receive in-depth feedback from experience health law scholars and teachers.  Scholars who wish to participate submit abstracts that are evaluated by a selection committee according to criteria including a clearly developed thesis based on a strong theoretical, doctrinal, or other evidentiary base.  

Professor Jasmine Harris joined the King Hall faculty in 2015 to teach evidence and disability law.  She is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Yale Law School and a former clerk for the Honorable Harold Baer, Jr. in the Southern District of New York. She has also worked at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr and with the Advancement Project, where she was as a staff attorney with the Schoolhouse to Jailhouse and Quality Education projects.
