Professor Jasmine Harris picked for steering committee of national symposium

The National Federation of the Blind has chosen Professor Jasmine E. Harris to serve on the steering committee for its 2020 Jacobus tenBroek Disability Law Symposium.

The annual symposium was named for the late founder of the National Federation of the Blind. TenBroek was a renowned constitutional law scholar, civil rights activist and advocate for the rights of the disabled.

Professor Jasmine Harris joined the King Hall faculty in 2015 to teach evidence and disability law. She is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Yale Law School and a former clerk for the Honorable Harold Baer, Jr. in the Southern District of New York. She has also worked at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr and with the Advancement Project, where she was as a staff attorney with the Schoolhouse to Jailhouse and Quality Education projects.
