Professor Jaime Comments on Dugard Kidnapping for KCRA-3
Professor Krystal Callaway Jaime appeared in a recent news broadcast on Sacramento station KCRA-3 to comment on the legal status of Jaycee Lee Dugard, who was found recently after being kidnapped 18 years ago at age 11.
Professor Jaime commented on the likelihood of whether Dugard would be placed in a legal conservatorship, stating that a "high burden of proof" would be required of any attempt to appoint a conservator.
Professor Jaime is Director of the UC Davis School of Law Family Protection and Legal Assistance Clinic.
