Professor Imwinkelried presents to Puerto Rican federal bar, law school

At the invitation of the local federal District Court, Professor Ed Imwinkelried recently presented a two-day Evidence seminar in San Juan for the Puerto Rican federal bar. The seminar was held at the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel on Nov. 15-16. On the first day of the seminar, Imwinkelried reviewed the authentication provisions in Article IX of the Federal Rules of Evidence. On the second day of the seminar, he discussed selected aspects of the hearsay doctrine codified in Article VIII. There were approximately 350 attendees.

After the seminar, Imwinkelried visited the University of Puerto Rico School of Law. There he delivered remarks on expert testimony to an audience of law faculty and evidence students. In the past, Imwinkelried has appeared at several continuing legal education programs sponsored by the University of Puerto Rico. 

Professor Imwinkelried is a world-renowned evidence expert who has published extensively in the field.
