Professor Imwinkelried Interviewed by Litigation

An interview with Professor Edward Imwinkelried appears in the Summer 2016 issue of Litigation, the official publication of the Section of Litigation of the American Bar Association. The interviewer is Houston attorney Martin Siegel, the editor-in-chief of Litigation

The interview covers a wide range of topics, including the professor's military service, his approach to teaching Evidence,  his role in preparing the plaintiff's brief in the Supreme Court's leading scientific evidence decision, DAUBERT V. MERRELL DOWS PHARMACEUTICALS, INC., 509 U.S. 579 (1993), his assessment of the long-term impact of the decision, and the future of forensic science.  At one point Mr. Siegel asks Professor Imwinkelried about his years at King Hall.  Professor Imwinkelried responded that for 30 years, he was "privileged to teach at the University of California, Davis, which has one of the most idealistic, public-spirited student bodies" in the United States.
