Professor Ikemoto Talks to Sacramento's CBS 13 About High Court Threat to Roe v. Wade

Professor Lisa Ikemoto spoke to CBS Sacramento’s Channel 13 news about the likelihood the U.S. Supreme Court could overturn Roe v. Wade. During oral arguments on Dec. 1, members of the court’s conservative majority appeared likely to uphold a Mississippi law that would ban almost all abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy. Lisa Ikemoto, Martin Luther King Jr. Professor of Law at UC Davis School of Law, has written extensively on genetic and reproductive technology, the regulation of fertility and pregnancy, and race and gender disparities in health care. Her current work examines emerging issues in regenerative medicine, including stem cell research, and the human tissues market.
