Professor Ikemoto speaks at 'Transformations of the Human' event at Stanford

Professor Lisa Ikemoto spoke at “Transformations of the Human,” a May 31 event at Stanford presented by the university’s Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences.

Ikemoto’s presentation addressed the regulatory structures and approaches that can be explored in addressing to inequities in the context of markets.

Lisa Ikemoto, Martin Luther King, Jr. Professor of Law at UC Davis School of Law, has written extensively on genetic and reproductive technology, the regulation of fertility and pregnancy, and race and gender disparities in health care. Her current work examines emerging issues in regenerative medicine, including stem cell research, and the human tissues market.
