Professor Ikemoto Speaks at Feminist Legal Theory Conference in Shanghai

Professor Lisa Ikemoto spoke at a conference on "Feminist Legal Theory in the United States and Asia: A Transpacific Dialogue."  The conference took pace at Fudan Law School, in Shanghai, China on May 16-17.  Cornell Law School and Fudan University co-sponsored the conference.  Professor Ikemoto's presentation was on "Feminist Jurisprudence and Reproductive Rights in the United States."

Lisa Ikemoto teaches bioethics and health law courses at the UC Davis School of Law.  She has written extensively on genetic and reproductive technology, the regulation of fertility and pregnancy, and race and gender disparities in health care.  Her current work examines emerging issues in regenerative medicine, including stem cell research, and the human tissues market.
