Professor Ikemoto Presents at University of Maryland

Professor Lisa Ikemoto spoke at the American Society of Law, Medicine & Ethics 2023 Health Law Professor Conference, held June 7-9 at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.

Ikemoto gave the presentation “Religious Lochnerism in Health Care” as part of the “Mainstreaming Reproductive Rights” panel.

Lisa Ikemoto, Martin Luther King Jr. Professor of Law at UC Davis School of Law, has written extensively on genetic and reproductive technology, the regulation of fertility and pregnancy, and race and gender disparities in health care. Her current work examines emerging issues in regenerative medicine, including stem cell research, and the human tissues market.
