Professor Ikemoto Presents at ‘Baby Markets International Congress'

Professor Lisa Ikemoto gave a plenary presentation on procurement and use of human eggs for research and fertility purposes at the "Baby Markets International Congress" at UC Irvine School of Law.  She was a panelist in a plenary discussion on "Reproductive Justice and Assisted Reproductive Technologies."

Lisa Ikemoto, Martin Luther King, Jr. Professor of Law at the UC Davis School of Law, has written extensively on genetic and reproductive technology, the regulation of fertility and pregnancy, and race and gender disparities in health care. Her current work examines emerging issues in regenerative medicine, including stem cell research, and the human tissues market.
