Professor Ikemoto discusses ‘Value and Values of Feminist Research'

Professor Lisa Ikemoto spoke on the panel “The Value and Values of Feminist Research” at the third annual Feminist Research Institute Symposium held May 8 on campus.

University of Massachusetts-Amherst Professor Banu Subramaniam, a plant biologist and feminist scholar, served as the event’s keynote speaker.

Lisa Ikemoto, Martin Luther King, Jr. Professor of Law at UC Davis School of Law, has written extensively on genetic and reproductive technology, the regulation of fertility and pregnancy, and race and gender disparities in health care. Her current work examines emerging issues in regenerative medicine, including stem cell research, and the human tissues market.
