Professor Hunt Speaks at Connecticut Insurance Conference
Professor John P. Hunt was an invited speaker at the "Regulating Risk" conference at the University of Connecticut School of Law April 16, speaking on credit-rating dependent regulation as part of a panel on "Interdisciplinary Approaches to Risk Management." His invited article on the subject will be published next year in the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal.
Professor Hunt's primary area of scholarly interest is the regulation of financial markets and institutions, including the role of credit-rating agencies in capital regulation and potential changes to their regulation that could mitigate the effects of financial bubbles.
