Professor Hillman Speaks on Ethics at Lewis & Clark Law School
Professor Robert Hillman was part of a panel discussion of "Ethical and Practical Advice for Lawyers in Difficult Economic Times" sponsored by the Oregon Law Institute and Lewis & Clark Law School. The panel covered topics including ethical rules on advertising and solicitation, fiduciary and fee-splitting standards for lawyers and firms when lawyers change firms, and when and how to withdraw from an attorney-client relationship that isn't working.
Hillman, professor of law and Fair Business Practices and Investor Advocacy Chair at UC Davis, is a scholar in the fields of international transactions, securities regulation, and corporate and partnership law.
