Professor Harris presents via webinar; article will be republished in UCLA journal

Professor Jasmine E. Harris presented her research on her article “Sexual Consent and Disability” (NYU Law Review, 2018) to a national audience of 114 participants in a webinar series sponsored by the Arc of New Jersey. Professor Harris also serves as a member of the Arc for People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (national) Legal Advocacy Subcommittee, where she assists in the review of requests for participation in impact litigation and amicus briefs that advance the Arc’s values and mission.

The same article has been selected for republication in the Disability Law Journal at UCLA, the first law journal of its kind in the nation.

Professor Jasmine Harris joined the King Hall faculty in 2015 to teach evidence and disability law.  She is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Yale Law School and a former clerk for the Honorable Harold Baer, Jr. in the Southern District of New York. She has also worked at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr and with the Advancement Project, where she was as a staff attorney with the Schoolhouse to Jailhouse and Quality Education projects.
