Professor Harris Appointed to Executive Committee of AALS Evidence Section

Professor Jasmine Harris has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the Association of American Law Schools (AALS) Evidence Section.  Appointment to the prestigious Committee is considered an honor, and Professor Harris's appointment as a first-year professor is particularly noteworthy.

Harris is one of many King Hall faculty members who had prominent speaking roles or were elected to leadership positions at the recent AALS Annual Meeting held January 6-10 in New York City.  Her appointment was proposed at the meeting but only became official the following week.

Professor Jasmine Harris joined the King Hall faculty in 2015 to teach evidence and disability law.  She is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Yale Law School and a former clerk for the Honorable Harold Baer, Jr. in the Southern District of New York. She has also worked at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale & Dorr and with the Advancement Project, where she was as a staff attorney with the Schoolhouse to Jailhouse and Quality Education projects.
