Professor Frank Talks to KQED, KCBS, Daily Journal About State Again Setting Emissions Rules

Professor of Environmental Practice Rick Frank spoke to San Francisco radio stations KQED and KCBS and to the Daily Journal about a major climate change-related U.S. Environmental Protection Agency decision of particular interest to California.

On March 9, the EPA reversed a previous policy of the Trump administration and restored California’s “waiver” under the Clean Air Act. The waiver allows California to adopt motor vehicle air pollution emission limits that are more stringent than those the EPA sets for the rest of the nation.
