Professor Frank, students attend CLA Environmental Law Conference at Yosemite

Professor of Environmental Practice Richard M. Frank and a group of 24 King Hall environmental law students attended the California Lawyers Association’s Environmental Law Conference from Oct. 18-21 at Yosemite National Park.

Frank spoke at the conference. His topic was “Recent Key Environmental Law Developments in the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeals and the California Supreme Court.”

The annual conference featured four days of plenary addresses, panel discussions and environmental field trips. It also included a reception in which the conference organizers honored law students who attended from throughout the state and nation.

The conference also provided King Hall students with networking opportunities with hundreds of California’s environmental lawyers and policy makers, and leads regarding externship opportunities and post-law school employment.

Richard M. Frank ’74 is a leader in the field of environmental law, Professor of Environmental Practice and the founding director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
