Professor Frank Speaks at State Bar of California's Environmental Law Section Yosemite Conference

On October 18, Professor of Environmental Practice Richard Frank spoke at the 2014 Yosemite Conference sponsored by the State Bar of California's Environmental Law Section.  The topic of his presentation was "Key Recent Environmental Law Developments in the U.S. Supreme Court, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and California Supreme Court."  The annual conference, the largest of its kind in the Western United States, regularly draws 500 of California's top environmental attorneys and policymakers.

This year's conference also featured the presence of 20 King Hall environmental law students.  Their attendance was made possible by financial support from the State Bar, the King Hall administration and faculty, and successful fundraising efforts of the law school's student-led Environmental Law Society.

Frank, a 1974 graduate of King Hall, is a leader in the field of environmental law and the founding Director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
