Professor Frank Speaks at Inter-American Development Bank Sustainability Event
On March 9, Professor of Environmental Practice Rick Frank spoke at a conference convened by the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, D.C., entitled, "Abundance Lost, Sustainability Required: The Water Crises in California and Brazil and Their Implications for Water Governance and Infrastructure." Frank's presentation at the IDB conference focused on the causes of, policy responses to, and lessons learned from California's unprecedented five-year drought.
Frank, a 1974 graduate of King Hall, is a leader in the field of environmental law and the founding Director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School.
