Professor Frank Quoted in Bee Editorial
Professor Rick Frank was quoted in a Sacramento Bee editorial calling for an updated Lake Tahoe development plan "that accelerates progress toward returning water clarity to 1968 levels and allows flexibility for development in areas that are appropriate." The editorial quotes Professor Frank regarding what will need to happen in order to break the gridlock currently hampering negotiations.
"Developers will have to avoid being too greedy and environmentalists will have to be somewhat more pragmatic," said Frank.
Frank, a 1974 graduate of King Hall, is the founding Director of the new California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
