Professor Frank Provides Briefing and Training for California’s State Environmental Attorneys

On January 30, Professor of Environmental Practice Richard Frank ’74 spoke in downtown Sacramento to approximately 150 environmental attorneys employed by the departments, boards, and commissions within California’s Natural Resources Agency, the California Environmental Protection Agency, and the California Attorney General’s Office.

Professor Frank gave a presentation on the key 2017-18 environmental law developments in the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and California Supreme Court. He did so at the request of the Secretary and General Counsel of CalEPA, in order to provide a briefing and legal training on environmental litigation developments of particular interest and relevance to the State of California’s environmental attorneys.

Frank is a leader in the field of environmental law and the founding Director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
