Professor Frank Presents to Journalists on Lake Tahoe's Litigation History

On July 24, Professor of Environmental Practice Richard Frank gave a presentation to a group of assembled environmental journalists from around the United States on the environmental and litigation history of Lake Tahoe.

The briefing was unusual in that Professor Frank gave it in the middle of Lake Tahoe, on the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center's research vessel, the John LeConte.  Professor Frank's presentation was part of a three-day conference created for the invited journalists by the UC Davis Office of Communications.  The event was titled, "UC Davis Media Fellowship at Lake Tahoe," and focused on Tahoe-related scientific, engineering and legal research conducted by UC Davis over the past several decades.

Frank, a 1974 graduate of King Hall, is a leader in the field of environmental law and the founding Director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
