Professor Frank Interviewed on California's Water Challenges
Professor of Environmental Practice Richard Frank was interviewed on the water management challenges faced by California's Central Coast region by the Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC). In the interview, which is available online via the PPIC Blog, Frank said the Central Coast's water issues are a microcosm of California's as a whole.
"I've been struck by how this one county illustrates a broader California dynamic-a tale of two states," said Frank. "The classic conflict between Northern and Southern California has become one of urban-coastal vs. inland-agricultural."
Frank, a 1974 graduate of King Hall, is a leader in the field of environmental law and the founding Director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
