Professor Frank Comments on California Supreme Court 2015 Environmental Rulings for Daily Journal
Professor of Environmental Practice Richard Frank commented for the Daily Journal on the California Supreme Court's 2015 environmental law decisions, which included four rulings relating to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
"Reflecting back on all the CEQA decisions this year, overall the Court is showing a healthy respect for CEQA and given it a broad and muscular interpretation," said Frank. "They demonstrate that CEQA is alive and well and commands the respect of the California Supreme Court."
Frank, a 1974 graduate of King Hall, is a leader in the field of environmental law and the founding Director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
