Professor Frank assesses Justice Kennedy's environmental-law legacy in Sacramento talk

On July 31, Professor of Environmental Practice Rick Frank gave a presentation to the Sacramento County Bar Association.  His topic was, “The Environmental Law Legacy of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy.”  

The talk, which coincided with the final day of Kennedy’s 30-year career on the Supreme Court, focused on Kennedy’s most influential decisions and opinions affecting national environmental law and policy.  Professor Frank also commented on Justice Kennedy’s roots in Sacramento, and the American West, and how that background influenced his decision-making on the court.
