Professor Frank Addresses S.F. Bar Environmental, Land Use, Property Sections

On Aug. 18, Professor Rick Frank made a presentation to the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Environmental, Land Use and Property sections. The title of his talk was  “Tackling Floods, Fires and Freezes: Regulating Greenhouse Gas Emissions to Achieve Climate Change Goals.”

Frank discussed recent developments at both the national level and the State of California to reduce GHG emissions to a level consistent with the international Paris Agreement and to avoid the worst climate change impacts projected by the United Nation/Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in its alarming report issued earlier this month.
