Professor Frank Addresses Schwartz/Levi Inn of Court

Professor of Environmental Practice Richard Frank made a presentation on April 14 to the Schwartz/Levi Inn of Court in Davis.

His presentation focused on California’s antiquated system of water rights law, and the efforts that he and other water experts are recommending to the Legislature and Gov. Newsom’s administration to reform that system in light of climate change and other 21st century conditions.

Frank’s talk was moderated by Yolo County Superior Court Judge Dan Wolk. Judge Wolk is the son of UC Davis Law Professor and Dean Emeritus Bruce Wolk, and his wife, former state Sen. Lois Wolk (both of whom were in attendance).

Richard M. Frank ’74 is a leader in the field of environmental law, Professor of Environmental Practice and the founding director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
