Professor Frank addresses Sacramento-area environmental law group

Professor Rick Frank ’74 spoke March 6 to the Sacramento County Bar Association’s Environmental Law Section. His focus was “Recent Environmental Law Developments in the U.S. Supreme Court and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.”

In his presentation, Frank also offered remarks on the likely implications for American environmental law jurisprudence of former Justice Anthony Kennedy’s 2018 retirement from the Supreme Court, and the ascension of Justice Brett Kavanaugh to replace him on the court.

Professor Frank is a leader in the field of environmental law, Professor of Environmental Practice and the founding director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
