Professor Frank addresses Bay Area League of Women Voters
On Feb. 8, Professor Rick Frank spoke (virtually) to a meeting of the Bay Area chapter of the League of Women Voters.
The subject of Frank’s presentation was “Confronting California’s Most Pressing Water Challenges.” Among the specific topics covered were how climate change is affecting and exacerbating water supply challenges in California and the American West; the seemingly intractable debate over the future of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta; and potential solutions to the problem of increasing water demand in the face of shrinking supplies.
Richard M. Frank ’74 is a leader in the field of environmental law, Professor of Environmental Practice and the founding director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
