Professor Elmendorf Presents Research at UC Berkeley and American Political Science Association Annual Meeting

Recently, Professor Christopher S. Elmendorf gave two presentations in the San Francisco Bay Area.  On September 2, he presented his paper, "Racial or Spatial? Effects of Ethnic Interest Group Endorsements in Low Information Elections," at a workshop on experimental research about California politics at UC Berkeley. On September 4, at the Annual Meeting of the American Political Science Association (APSA), he presented "Machine Learning vs. MRP: Estimating Public Opinion in Small Geographic Units."  He also gave a talk at the APSA meeting on September 6 on voting rights law and the place of empirical research in voting rights litigation.

Christopher S. Elmendorf is a Professor of Law at UC Davis School of Law whose teaching and research interests include election law, administrative law, statutory interpretation, constitutional law, and property and natural resources law.
