Professor Doremus Comments on Slate and in Contra Costa Times

Professor Holly Doremus, an environmental and natural resource expert, provided commentary on Slate about the recent listing of the polar bear as a threatened species. The Contra Coast Times also quoted Doremus on the matter.

The Interior Department recently designated the polar bear as threatened with extinction because of shrinking sea ice, making it the first creature added to the endangered species list primarily because of global warming.
