Professor Dodge Chosen by American Law Institute for Restatement of the Law Project

Professor William S. Dodge has been chosen to serve as an advisor for a new project launched by the American Law Institute (ALI), the nation's most important non-governmental organization of legal reform. The "Restatement of the Law Third, Conflict of Laws" project will survey torts, property, contract, business organizations, family law and other status questions, and trusts and estates, as well as choice-of-law issues and make recommendations regarding potential reforms.

Professor Dodge, the Honorable Roger J. Traynor Professor of Law at UC Hastings College of the Law, will join the UC Davis School of Law faculty in July, pending completion of campus personnel procedures.
