Professor Chin to speak at Harvard Law conference
Professor Gabriel “Jack” Chin is among the speakers for the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association conference, to be held Feb. 1 at Harvard Law School. He will appear on a panel addressing discrimination.
Professor Chin also will participate in a conference re-enactment of the trial of Chol Soo Lee, whose wrongful murder conviction by a Sacramento jury in 1974 was overturned after the case became a rallying point across the APA community.
Professor Chin is a Martin Luther King Jr. Professor of Law and holder of the Edward L. Barrett Jr. Endowed Chair at UC Davis School of Law. He is a prolific and much-cited criminal and immigration law scholar whose work has addressed many of the most pressing social issues of our time.
