Professor Chin Receives UC Davis Community Engaged Learning Faculty Fellowship

UC Davis Public Scholarship and Engagement has awarded Professor Gabriel “Jack” Chin a 2022 Community Engaged Learning Faculty Fellowship. 

The program’s goal is for faculty to integrate community-engaged scholarship teachings into courses so the next generation will understand how to conduct public scholarship. This year's cohort is focused on equity and justice in public scholarship.

Gabriel "Jack" Chin is Martin Luther King Jr. Professor of Law and holder of the Edward L. Barrett, Jr. Endowed Chair at UC Davis School of Law.  He is a prolific and much-cited criminal and immigration law scholar whose work has addressed many of the most pressing social issues of our time.
