Professor Chin Presents at Conferences on Legal Scholarship, Racial Fairness in the Courts

Professor Gabriel "Jack" Chin spoke at the Association of American Law Schools New Teachers Conference on scholarship for new faculty.

He also participated in the annual meeting of the National Consortium on Racial and Ethnic Fairness in the Courts in Cody, Wyoming. He lectured to a group of judges and lawyers on immigrants in the criminal justice system, and participated in a panel on immigration moderated by Judge Lance Ito. He also acted in Heart Mountain: Conscience, Loyalty and the Constitution, a reenactment of a World War II trial of Japanese Americans interned in the Heart Mountain Relocation Center, written by Second Circuit Judge Denny Chin and Kathy Hirata-Chin, who narrated.

Gabriel "Jack" Chin, who joined the King Hall faculty in 2011, is a prolific and much-cited criminal and immigration law scholar whose work has addressed many of the most pressing social issues of our time.
