Professor Chin, APALSA, Munger, Tolles & Olson Honored for Hong Yen Chang Advocacy

Professor Gabriel "Jack" Chin, King Hall's Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, and Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP have been honored by the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Los Angeles County with the organization's 2016 Public Service Award.  The honor recognizes their efforts in obtaining posthumous California Bar admission for Hong Yen Chang, who was denied a license to practice law in California more 100 years ago as a result of laws that discriminated against Chinese immigrants.
