Professor Chander Speaks at Privacy Law Scholars Conference

Professor Anupam Chander participated in the 8th Annual Privacy Law Scholars Conference, taking place in Berkeley, California in June 2015.

The Privacy Law Scholars Conference assembles privacy law scholars and practitioners from around the world to discuss current issues and foster greater connections between academia and practice. Professor Chander served as the commentator for a paper by University of Minnesota law professor William McGeveran, titled "Responsive Privacy Legislation." The paper compared privacy enforcement practices of the Federal Trade Commission and the Irish Data Protection Commissioner.

Professor Chander, a leading scholar of international economic law and cyberlaw, is the author of The Electronic Silk Road: How the Web Binds the World in Commerce, published in 2013 by Yale University Press. His scholarly papers can be accessed via his Social Science Research Network author page.
