Professor Chander Speaks at Columbia University Internet Governance Conference
Professor Anupam Chander spoke on issues of cross border data flow at a major Internet governance conference at Columbia University on May 14, 2015.
The "Global Conference on Internet Governance and Cyber-Security" was sponsored by Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs and the Global Commission on Internet Governance. The conference brought together leaders on Internet policy, including Brad Smith, Microsoft General Counsel; Vinton G. Cerf, Vice President & Chief Internet Evangelist, Google; and Fadi Chehadé, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers.
Professor Chander, a leading scholar of international economic law and cyberlaw, is the author of The Electronic Silk Road: How the Web Binds the World in Commerce, published in 2013 by Yale University Press.
